How do I change the way I receive my MFA code after enrollment?

If you’d like to manually add your authenticator app to MFA (without using a QR code), visit this page.

Please note that if you are traveling and not taking any of your devices with you, you will only be able to access your banking by calling Member Services. If you know ahead of time that you won’t have access to your phone or device where you receive your MFA code, please make sure to change it in advance. You can receive the MFA code on any device that has your authenticator app (i.e., phone, tablet, laptop, etc.) You can find a step-by-step guide on this page.

If you are already abroad or don’t have access to your phone, you will not be able to change the way you receive your MFA code. Please call Member Services so we may assist you in accessing your banking:

The following steps show how to change the way you receive your one-time code after enrolling.


Step 1:

Log in to Online Banking.

Step 2:

Navigate to the ‘Profile and Preferences’ section.

Then select ‘Manage Multi Factor Authentication and Password Reset Settings’.

Step 3:

Choose ‘Remove’ for the factor you want to remove or update.

Then, simply select ‘Set Up’ to set it up again.

Step 1:

Enter your MEMBER CARD number and Password and select ‘Login’.

Step 2:

Navigate to the ‘Settings’ section and choose ‘Security’.

Step 3:

Choose ‘Remove’ for the factor you want to remove or update.

If you want to set it up again, simply select ‘Update’.


Log in to Online Banking and update your MFA method by following the steps above.
