What are account to account Interac e-Transfers?

Account to account e-Transfers enable funds to be directly deposited to the chequing or savings account of your choice.

To receive funds using Interac e-Transfer you will need to securely, by phone or in person, provide your Branch/Transit #, Financial Institution # and Account # to the sender. It is important that you provide the correct account details to avoid e-Transfers being rejected or going to the wrong account, the sender is not able to retract the transaction once it has been sent.

You can provide different Canadian dollar chequing or savings account #’s to different senders should you want funds deposited to specific accounts.
