How do I send an Interac e-Transfer?
Interac e-Transfer allows you to send money through online banking, securely and quickly, to anyone with an online banking account in Canada and an email address or mobile phone.
Steps to follow
- Log in to online or mobile banking and navigate to Transfer Money on the left menu.
- Select Send Interac e-Transfer
- Select your recipient in the “Transfer To” section.
- Select the account you want to send the money from in the “Transfer From” section.
- Enter the “Amount”
- Enter the “Message” that your recipient will see.
- Press “Continue” and “Confirm” on the next page.
- Open the Vancity Mobile app.
- Select the Interac e-Transfer tile on the home screen of the app.
- Login with your password if prompted
- Select “Send Money”.
- Select the account you want to send the money from in the “From” section.
- Select your recipient in the “To” section.
- Enter the “Amount”
- Enter the “Memo” that your recipient will see.
- Press “Continue” and “Confirm” on the next page.
