How do I call Vancity from overseas / internationally?

Depending on where you’re travelling you can follow the instructions below to reach us for any questions you have. If you’re travelling within Canada or the U.S follow the instructions under “How do I call Vancity from within Canada or the U.S.” If you’re travelling internationally and you would like to call us from a different country, follow the steps below.

To dial us internationally, you must first enter the International Access Code (see IAC list below) and then the number.

The format should be IAC + Country Code + 10 Digits Cellular Number

How do I call Vancity from within Canada or the U.S

If calling international numbers from within Canada or while roaming outside Canada, use this format:

          [+]  [country code]  [area code]  [phone number]

Use the “+” sign to substitute for the International Access Code. Different countries have different access codes, so using “+” sign makes sure you won’t have any issues making the call. Press and hold “0” on the phone’s dial pad to bring up the “+” sign.
