Upgrading your enviro Visa credit card can mean you keep the same card number but get a whole lot more value. Earn more Vancity Rewards points or get access to more benefits like travel perks, dining events, and entertainment offers.
If you would like to switch to a different enviro Visa card, follow these steps:
Personal cardholders (Primary Cardholders only):

You can also initiate a product change request in Online Banking by following these steps:
- Log on to online banking.
- Click the 3 dots next to your credit card that you want to change or upgrade.
- Click “Request product change”.
4. Select the product you would like to change to.
5. Review and confirm changes when complete.

No, you get to keep the same account number as your current enviro Visa credit card. You will need to update your expiry date on any pre-authorized payments.
Redemption history and any other enviro Visa card transaction will not transfer to your Vancity Rewards account when a product change is done. Therefore, you won’t see any historical transactions prior to point they did the product upgrade but you’ll see the balance of your points transferred.
A pro-rated annual fee is credited back to your account the night immediately after you change your card to a different card type. The full annual fee of the new product is then charged on your next billing cycle date.
If you switch from a card that earns Vancity Rewards points to a card that does not earn points, you will have 90 days after the change was made to redeem any points you earned before the change. You will lose any points that remain if you do not redeem them during the 90-day period. See the Vancity Rewards Terms & Conditions for more details.
New cards will only be issued if switching between enviro Visa Classic, enviro Visa Gold, enviro Visa Infinite, or enviro Visa Infinite Privilege (in any combination) or if switching between enviro Visa Business and enviro Visa Business Infinite. They will be mailed to the address on file within 7-10 business days. If you receive a new card, it should be activated as soon as it’s received as your old cards will become inactive within 28 days of submitting this request.
