How do I pay a bill in Online Banking?

Paying bills in Online Banking and the Vancity mobile app is quick and easy. Before making a payment, you’ll need to add each bill as a payee. Once your payees are set up, you can pay bills anytime from your account. Learn how to add or delete a payee here.

Adding your bills to online banking

	Step 1: Log in to online banking.
	Step 2: In the left-hand menu select Pay Bills.
	Step 3: On the main screen select Add Payee.
	Step 4: In the box enter Payee Name and click Search.
	Step 5: Click on the vendor you want to pay.
	Step 6: In the box Payee Account Number, enter the complete vendor account number.
	Step 7: Select the relationships to add this payee to. Click Submit.

Pay a bill in Online Banking

	Step 1: Log in to online banking.
	Step 2: In the left-hand menu select Pay Bills.
	Step 3: Choose your account from the Pay From section.
	Step 4: Click the box beside the vendor you want to pay.
	Step 5: Enter the Payment Date and the Amount at the bottom of the page Click Pay Bills.
	Step 6: Review your payment details and click Confirm to complete or Cancel to begin again.
