Steps to follow
The first time you send an Interac e-Transfer, you will be prompted to set up an e-Transfer profile. You will need to log in to your online banking account to follow the steps below.

Step 1:
Log in online banking and select “e-Transfers” on the left side menu. |

Step 2:
Select “Edit profile” and edit your Interac e-Transfer profile. Please note that the phone number entered must be a Canadian phone number. Both the sender and recipient must have Canadian Bank accounts at participating financial institutions for a successful e-Transfer. |

Step 3:
Review information and select “Confirm” when ready. |

Step 4:
The success screen confirms that the profile has been created. |

Step 1:
Log in to the mobile app. Click on e-Transfers at the bottom menu and select ‘Edit profile’. |

Step 2:

Review your information and click ‘Confirm’. |

This is the information that will be used by Interac to complete your e-Transfers. You can update this information at any time by simply clicking on Edit Sender Profile.
