How do I access and send secure email?

When sending personal information to Vancity or to reply to a request for information, using Vancity’s secure email will do so in a safe and secure way.  This tool is meant to allow you to communicate safely with Vancity and the Vancity Group of Companies and not for personal use with other parties.

Follow the steps below on how to set up, access and use your secure email

How do I access my secure email for the first time?

1. Launch your email
2. Locate the Vancity initiated secure email and open
3. Click the ‘Click here’ link
*Note: You may receive a suspicious link warning. If so, select the option to proceed
4. Complete the Vancity Registration form and click ‘Continue’ button.
5. The Vancity initiated secure email will automatically launch


How do I reply to or forward a secure email?

1. Launch your email
2. Locate the Vancity initiated secure email and open
3. Click the ‘Click here’ link
4. Enter your previously set secure email password and click the ‘Continue’ button
5. Select the desired ‘Reply’, ‘Reply All’ or ‘Forward’ button
6. Attach a file if required
7. Click the ‘Send’ button
